Job Title: Church Audio/Visual Specialist
Reports To: Worship Arts Director
Job Overview: Collaborates with the Worship Arts Director and Video Producer to create, maintain, and support the technical and creative direction of all services and events including Livestream, Hybrid, and In Person. Recruits and develops the Technical Volunteer Team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all technology for all Worship Services, Special Events, Discipleship Classes are functioning properly and ready for use.
- Recruit, train, direct and schedule all AVL Team volunteers.
- Collaborate with the Worship Director to identify tech needs, maintain existing equipment, research and select new equipment needed.
- Collaborate with the Video Producer to coordinate the video recording and everything needed to create online service; including but not limited to music/worship, message, storytelling, and introduction and response segments.
- Create, prepare, and produce ProPresenter for in-person services and all church events.
- Responsible for delivery and scheduling of online streaming to various platforms and locations, and troubleshooting any technical problems that may arise.
- Provide basic training / support to other Ministry teams/volunteers for recurring events (i.e., Kids Ministry, Youth Group, Latino Ministry, Discipleship)
- Uphold the Staff Covenant.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experienced with Behringer x32 audio console and Jands Vista Lighting Software
- Proficient with ProPresenter Software
- Proficient in Apple Logic Software
- Experienced in live-streaming
- Strong computer skills, Apple literate; capacity to learn new programs, software, or other tech as needed
- Good organizational skills, detail-oriented. Self-starter
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve all AVL components
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to set and maintain healthy boundaries and confidentiality.
- Spiritually grounded, while providing Godly care to those around you.
Hours, Salary and Benefits:
• 30 Hours - Full time, ($25-$28/hour)
