Inconceivable Series

When issues arise, God offers us hope through Him and through His people. Our series, Inconceivable, is an opportunity for us to have an open conversation as a community of God’s people. This conversation will center around some of the current issues occurring in the United Methodist Church. We’ll take this time to discuss the issues and discern which direction God wants us to go.

To help you understand what is happening in the UMC, you’ll receive 5 informational sheets by email (and below) each week. These informational sheets offer a deep dive into the issues and additional resources for you to use as you do your own research.

Denominational Roundtable Discussions

We understand that this is a time when you may have many questions and concerns about the issues at hand and the possibility of leaving the United Methodist Church.

That’s why the Ad Board of Estero Church will host Denominational Roundtable Discussions—forums where you and a small group of others can come together to share questions and concerns. We want to listen to you, answer your questions the best we can, and ensure that your feedback is passed along to our church leadership.

We invite you to join us for one of our Denominational Roundtable Discussions as we work through our questions as a community. We have a few more sessions available. Please sign up for one of the sessions below.

Voting Process

Once our Inconceivable series and Denominational Roundtable Discussions have concluded, our church will vote on whether or not to leave the denomination. To participate in the vote…

  • You must be a full member of Estero Church.
  • You must be present in person when the vote occurs.

We will vote as a church on Thursday, February 16 at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary.
